Simple to set up
A few minutes are enough.
- Install the Stream Deck plugin included with TALK once.
- Enter the event, venue, moderator, speakers and their allocated times.
- Choose the return display and deploy the waiting screen.
- Start and select speakers from TALK, Stream Deck or Stream Deck Mobile.
- End the session and open the TXT and JSON reports.

Changes remain possible during the session: add or remove a speaker, change their time or extend the conference.
TALK sends those changes to the Stream Deck profile without rebuilding the layout. If the iPad or Stream Deck becomes unavailable, the same controls remain available with the mouse in TALK.
Progress is saved automatically. After an unexpected shutdown, recovery resumes from the last saved point without assigning the interruption time to anyone.

Is TALK only for conferences?
No. It suits any event where speaking time must be tracked precisely.
Does TALK require QLab?
No. TALK works on its own. QLab or Companion can control it over OSC when they are already part of your setup.
Can I control TALK from Stream Deck?
Yes. The plugin is included with TALK and installs from the OSC Connection screen. The open conference automatically loads names, times and controls into the Stream Deck profile, which also appears in Stream Deck Mobile.
Can I change timings during the conference?
Yes. Speaker and timing changes are sent to Stream Deck after saving, without erasing any time already measured.
Is an internet connection required?
Internet is used for Mac App Store downloads and updates. During the conference, TALK, the display and the Stream Deck plugin work locally.
What happens if Stream Deck becomes unavailable?
Timing continues. Every control remains available with the mouse in the TALK control room.
How do I export conference data?
Ending the conference automatically creates a readable TXT report and a reusable JSON file. A button opens their folder in Finder.
